When the occupant of the Presiding Officer's chair tells a Member his time is up, it's bad form to challenge it. When told again, it's certainly ill-advised to say: "With friends like you.."

I didn't see it, was it delivered in a jokey manner? If so, it's surely just banter but given he initially challenged it (and given the MSP involved), I think you've probably got a point.
Ross Finnie raised it as a point of order and Alex Fergusson will "reflect on it".
It sounded angry to me. Given the way that phrase normally ends, I'd imagine the PO will indeed be reflecting hard.
